On the verge of an empty nest for the first time in 30 years, my question is: What am I for?

  1. This haiku gives me a vivid image– Purple flower in gray sky. When I read this, I felt sadness but I also felt there was a silver lining. As I read the titile, I imagine that you want to dedicate this haiku to people in Boston.
